On June 1, 2015, Texas Aviation Partners was retained by GAABT Aviation, Inc. to manage the largest lease holder at Georgetown Municipal Airport formerly known as Georgetown Jet Center. The campus included over 75,000 square feet of hangar space and 15,000 square feet of office and shop space.
WHAT WE ACHIEVED:
Designed and published an FBO website to include a new logo and branding.
Implemented comprehensive repairs and improvements by addressing overdue deferred maintenance.
Overhauled failing hangar ceiling insulation and purchased upgraded aviation-specific towing equipment.
Purchased an EPA-compliant waste fuel disposal system to maintain compliance and be environmentally friendly.
Created new lease documents with updated insurance requirements.
Relocated the FBO closer to the runway for more exposure, increasing incoming transient business.
Purchased a newer courtesy car for customer use.
Provided employee training so the line service crew and customer service representatives became 100% NATA Safety 1st certified.
Deployed several much-needed amenities, including concierge services, on-site rental cars, a flight planning station, GPU services, complimentary Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, popcorn, coffee, and water.
100% occupancy of community hangar space.
98% occupancy of office space.
Negotiated leases for office and hangar space with local businesses and a flight school.
